CDA fails to clean polluted streams

ISLAMABAD - Dirty streams, choked by all types of pollutants have so far been left unclean by the Capital Development Authority (CDA), posing a huge threat to the capital's environment.
Sixteen streams (nallahs), running through various sectors of the capital, are blocked by waste including dead trees and pollutants from legal and illegal sewerage connections, a survey conducted by Pakistan Today revealed.
