CJ constitutes bench to hear Civil Review Petition

ISLAMABAD - Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary has constituted a four member larger bench to hear the Civil Review Petition.
According to a press release issued here on Tuesday, the bench would hear Civil Review Petition Nos 46 & 47 of 2011 in Constitution Petition Nos. 11 & 18 of 2011 regarding non acceptance of recommendation of Judicial Commission by Parliamentary Committee with respect to the Judges of Lahore High Court and High Court of Sindh on Friday.

LHC CJ to sit at Pindi bench next week

LAHORE - Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Ijaz Ahmed Chaudhry on Saturday constituted five division benches (DB) and 11 single benches (SB) for hearing cases at the Principal Seat, Lahore in the week starting from March 28. President approves appointment of two SC judges, SHC CJ

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday approved the appointment of Justice Sarmad Jalal Osmany and Justice Amir Hani Muslim as permanent judges of the Supreme Court and Justice Mushir Alam as the Sindh High Court chief justice.
