OUP-Pakistan donates books for flood-affected children
KARACHI - Since the start of the reconstruction phase, the Oxford University Press (OUP)-Pakistan has been supporting the rehabilitation efforts by contributing more than 300,000 copies of specially-developed storybooks for children in Sindhi, Urdu and English languages.

KARACHI - A polio vaccination campaign was launched on Wednesday in a ceremony held at the Government Dispensary in Bath Island.
Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah inaugurated the ceremony for the anti-polio drive aimed at protecting children against the crippling disease.

PESHAWAR - An explosive device killed four children and wounded three others while they were playing at a pond in warm spring weather on Wednesday, police said.
