LAHORE: Lahore Bar Association (LBA) on Wednesday refused to accept the grant of Rs five million recommended and sanctioned by former Lahore High Court (LHC) chief justice (CJ) Khwaja Mohammad Sharif for LBA and its members who suffered injuries and humiliation at the hands of police during the crackdown on Aiwan-e-Adl on October 1st.

Pakistani peace keepers return
LAHORE: A batch of more than 285 Peace Keeping troops of Pakistani contingent arrived from Congo on Wednesday, while Brigadier Saif Ullah Orakzai welcomed them at the Allama Iqbal International Airport.

PU to establish campus in Jhelum
LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed the Punjab University, the oldest and largest varsity of the country, to establish its campus at Jhelum.
For this purpose, the chief minister constituted a committee under the convener ship of the Planning and Development Board Punjab Chairman.
