LAHORE: Dozens of nurses from Saeeda Waheed Nursing College protested on Monday in front of PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif's Jati Umra residence against the non payment of their monthly stipend. LAHORE: Seven people received burn injuries when a fire erupted due to gas leakage in a LPG cylinder shop at the Bund Road in Islampura Police Station precincts on Sunday. According to Edhi officials, the fire erupted in a LPG cylinders shop owned by Rana Mudassar at the Bund Road near the Taj Company in Islampura Police Station precincts when someone threw a burnt cigarette near a leaking gas cylinder. LAHORE: Four new high security prisons and barracks are being built across jails in Punjab, one each in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Mianwali and Sahiwal at a total cost of Rs 1935.189 million.
