LARKANA: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday took notice of the inundated streets of Kausar Mill and other localities of Larkana after a video of a local man singing about the sewerage issue went viral on social media.

The sewerage water was also standing in front of Jamia Masjid of the locality due to which people were unable to offer prayers there.

The PPP leader directed the Larkana deputy commissioner and district authorities to drain outstanding sewage water within 24 hours and resolve the issue permanently.

He said that cleanliness must be ensured in entire Larkana district and no negligence in this connection would be tolerated.

Bilawal further directed that district authorities must ensure the discharge of their legal, moral and official responsibilities so that residents do not suffer. He promised that no compromise would be made in the cleanliness of Sindh.
