ISLAMABAD: A drunk Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight steward Ghulam Muhammad Chandio was off-loaded before take off.
According to media reports, the PIA medical team did a sudden check of all the flight crew travelling through the PIA flight from Islamabad to Lahore and took their blood samples.
A high level of alcohol was identified in the blood reports of flight steward Ghulam Muhammad Chandio after which the authorities off-loaded him.
A PIA spokesperson said that a departmental inquiry will be launched against steward.
