The Sabzi Mandi police arrested 12 men who could not produce any document for their identification during a search operation in the slums on Thursday.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Bani Amin Khan and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tahir Alam Khan have directed the police officials to expand the search operation in other areas of the city. The IGP have directed all Superintendent of Police (SPs) and Sub Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) to ensure checking at all hotels, inns and restaurants in their respective areas and to devise a mechanism for checking visitors’ list in the hotels.
