ISLAMABAD: Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday said that Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb looks like former Bollywood actress Rakhee Gulzar.
Chaudhry made the comments as he appeared with Marriyum for an interview with GEO TV’s Capital Talk program.
“Maryam makes a serious face and does such good acting of a mother that she looks like Rakhee Gulzar. She should be given an award,” he said.
“I like Rakhee and am glad that you likened me to her,” Marriyum answered Chaudhry but later asked him “why did you liken me to Rakhee?”.
Rakhee Gulzar regularly played the role of an elderly mother during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s in a number of movies.
Over the course of her career, the actress won a National Film Award and three Filmfare Awards.
