LAHORE: Karachi Whites require just 120 runs to win against Lahore Ravi on the final day of the Division II Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match being played here at the Qaddafi Stadium.
Resuming its second innings at nine without loss, Lahore went on to score 251 runs taking an overall lead of 120 runs. When their innings concluded the day’s play was also called off leaving Karachi with all ten wickets and a full day in hand to get the win. Mohammad Saad and Junaid Jan with 52 and 87 runs respectively lifted Lahore’s total but the Karachi bowlers particularly Atif Maqbool, who took four wickets, and Tanvir Ahmed, who had three, did not allow them to swell the lead.

In another match of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, Lahore Shalimar and PTV are heading towards a draw with the second innings of both the teams yet to be completed here at the LCCA ground.
On day three PTV were batting at 189 for six in its second innings after Lahore made 227 in its first innings. From the Lahore side Hamza Mobeen with 80 runs and Asif Ghafoor with figures of three for 31 were prominent while Umair Khan with 56 runs and Zahoor Khan with four wickets did well for PTV.
