Love kills or so… thinks Malik

Interior Minister Rehman Malik surprised the nation on Wednesday when he told reporters that almost 70 percent of the people reported dead in targeted killings in Karachi were in fact murdered by their “wives and girlfriends”.
“If it is reported that 100 people are killed in targeted killings, investigations later reveal that only 30 were the actual victims, while the remaining 70 died at the hands of their wives or girlfriends,” Malik said with unflinching conviction during a press conference in Quetta.
Before his above-stated baffling reply to a question on targeted killings in Karachi, Malik said talks would not be held with those who were burning the Pakistani flag in Balochistan.

  2. حضرت صاحب اللہ کا خوف کریں اور اپنی حس مزاح پر قابو رکھیں۔ اگر آپ روزقیامت پر یقین رکھتے ہیں تو یہ تمام مظلوم مقتولین چاہے کسی بھی زبان کے بولنے والے ہوں اللہ کے سامنے اسی حالت میں اٹھائے جائنگے اور اگر انہوں نے وہاں آپ کا گریبان پکڑ لیا تو اللہ تعال٘ی بھی اس وقت تک معاف نہیں کریں گے جب تک ان معصوموں سے آپ کی گلوخاصی نہیں ہوجاتی۔

  6. If Martial Law was declared today he will be shifted to Sialkot and on his own request will be provided facilities to resume his ancestoral profession,courtesy Jail Authorities.

  7. Malik has disrespected the dead and their relatives. This shows how insensitive the current Govt and its main functionaries are to the plight of the masses. Even on serious issues like target killings in Karachi these jestors show their true colors.

  8. This is a perfect example extrapolating most of our goverment officials policy of ‘no affection’ towards its people what so ever. Instead of making a significant move to stop this massacre from getting worse such sardonic comments reflects the government reluctance to resolve the crisis.
