ISLAMABAD: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) has constituted eight sub-committees to review audit paras for different fiscal years.
According to a notification issued here Wednesday, the sub-committees were constituted in pursuance of Rule 224(1) of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly, 2007.
The sub-committees, under the convenorship of MNA Noor Alam Khan, will review audit paras for fiscal years 2017-18 and 2016-17, Syed Naveed Qamar for fiscal years 2015-16 and 2016-17, Fakhar Imam for fiscal years 2013-14 and 2014-15, Shahida Akhtar Ali for years 2012-13 and 2013-14, Ayaz Sadiq for years 2010-11 and 2011-12, Senators Sherry Rehman for years 2014-15 and 2015-16 and Syed Shibli Faraz for years 2009-10 and 2010-11.
Similarly, a sub-committee, under the convenorship of MNA Rana Tanveer Hussain, will review compliance of previous actionable points/PAC directives and its reports.
All sub-committees will submit their reports to the PAC.
