ISLAMABAD: Thousands of people attended the funeral of the youngsters martyred by Indian troops in their ancestral villages in Pulwama district of Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).

Four youngsters were martyred by Indian troops during a cordon and search operation in Rajpora area of the district on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Council for Human Rights President Dr Syed Nazir Gilani, in a letter addressed to the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, strongly condemned the continued killings by Indian forces in the held valley.

He demanded of the world powers to take action against Indian brutalities. On the other hand, the Kashmir Editors Guild (KEG), in a statement, termed the attempts to subvert the media institutions as Indian government’s plan to rein in media in the territory.
