LAHORE: A drug addict on Saturday killed a relative for not giving him money to purchase drugs, police said.
As per the details, the accused, namely Irshad, who hails from Nishtar Colony, asked his sister’s father-in-law, Chiragh Din, to give him money for drugs.
Upon refusal, the culprit hit Chiragh with a brick in his head, killing him on the spot.
The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem and the police, after registering a case against the murderer, have started an investigation.
