RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday appointed Lieutenant General Bilal Akbar as Colonel Commandant of Mujahid Force, according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The appointment was made during a visit by the COAS to Mujahid Force Centre at Bhimber.
Currently serving and retired officers including those from the force were present at the occasion.
General Bajwa also appreciated the services and sacrifices of Mujahid Force troops, especially at the Line of Control (LoC).
