ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Wednesday said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leaders were trying to hold the incumbent Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government responsible for the failure of their last regime.

In a statement, he said that PML-N leader Hamza Shahbaz had shifted the burden on PTI’s shoulders for the economic crisis being faced by the country today. PML-N’s corrupt government had left a bankrupt economy, he added.

The information minister said that Hamza’s statement regarding the economic crisis was like committing a theft and then justifying it as well. Examples of such blatant lies could be rarely found but PML-N leaders are experts in hiding the truth, he added.
