ISLAMABAD: People have demanded for an extension of the deadline to file applications of the incumbent government’s low cost housing scheme in eight cities, including the federal capital.
The citizens said that last date for filing applications was December 21 and there were always long queues of applicants at NADRA offices for submitting applications which is why many could not file their applications. Widows and elderly persons were particularly among those who failed to submit their forms due to heavy rush.
“I am a widow and I have two young daughters. I cannot send my daughters to file applications by standing in queues at night. I request the government to extend the date for submitting the forms up to December 31,” a woman said.
