Shehbaz Sharif undergoes medical checkup at Ministers’ Enclave

 ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Monday underwent a medical checkup at the Ministers’ Enclave.

A medical board consisting of doctors from Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Polyclinic hospital examined Shehbaz. The doctors advised the opposition leader in the National Assembly to rest and take his medicines regularly.

On November 24, Shehbaz Sharif’s blood report had shown signs of cancer recurrence. His medical examination was conducted after he complained of throat ache.

On November 6, the accountability court had sent Shehbaz to jail on judicial remand after his previous physical remand ended in the case.

NAB arrested the former Punjab chief minister in the Ashiana-e-Iqbal Housing Scheme scam on October 5. The former chief minister was charged with awarding illegal contracts to his favorite firm.

He was apprehended during his appearance before NAB in the Saaf Pani Company scam.
