LAHORE: Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) caught 95 citizens alleged of electricity theft from various parts of the city.
According to a press statement issued on Monday, LESCO staff conducted raids in Jallo Pind, Kotli Ghassi, Lallo Pind, Rasool Pura, Dhoori Pind, Mandiawala, Minhala, Shah Muahammad Da Wara, Chrag Da Wara, Alla Deen Wara, Dhoor Wala, Nawan pind Gujran, Hussain Park, Gujjar Colony and caught 95 power thieves.
According to the FIR lodged against the accused, it is alleged that they stole 190,000 units of electricity worth Rs 1.9 million. LESCO Additional Manager Public Relations Javaid Ahmad Khan requested citizens to report cases of electricity theft on 0800-84338 (0800-THEFT).
