Central leader Jamaat Islami Syed Munawar Hassan has said on Monday that the party was not going to be part of any grand alliance.
Talking to reporters, Hassan said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and Muttahida Qaumi Movement have been playing the roles of friendly opposition and allies and were now deceiving the nation.
Discussing the deterioration law and order situation in Karachi, Hassan said that the people of Karachi should refuse the politics of killing through vote power and establishing peace in the city was the government’s responsibility.
He said countries with self-respect do not require aid and that the rulers should show courage in the face of a stoppage of military aid from America.
