LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar on Monday vowed to empower youngsters belonging to remote areas of the province.
“A new dimension will be given to technical and vocational education so that youth belonging to backward areas can earn their livelihood through necessary technical training facilities,” he said while speaking to different delegations at his office.
The trained youth will be able to grab honourable employment opportunities, he added.
CM Buzdar said the new industrial policy would leave positive impacts on the provincial economy and the establishment of new industries would result in the creation of additional employment opportunities. “Increased investment will help achieve economic stability and consequent industrial growth.”
“A conducive atmosphere is being provided to investors for industrial growth,” he said, adding that special economic zones would also be established in different parts of the province.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan is the centre of hope of the people and he will lead the nation to its destination. The premier will be remembered as a true revolutionary leader.”
The chief minister said that targets of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s 100-day plan will be achieved at all costs and they had come to power to serve the masses.
“All promises made to the nation will be fulfilled by us.”
The Punjab government is working in the right direction and the livestock sector will also be transformed according to the vision of the prime minister, he said.
The chief minister disclosed that a number of new laws and amendments were part of the implementation of PM Khan’s 100-day agenda that was being followed by the government.
“We are thankful to him [Imran Khan] for his sincere guidance. My team will set new records of public welfare by burning the midnight oil,” he added.
“Expectations of the people with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government will be fulfilled,” CM Buzdar said and reiterated that welfare of the general public was the government’s primary agenda.
Every step we take is aimed at strengthening the common man and targets have been set to improve the quality of life of the people, he said.
“We will move forward in unison for a new Pakistan and the country will be served with dedication and commitment. The government is making sincere efforts to make Pakistan a true welfare state,” he said.
Earlier, the chief minister also listened to the problems of the people and issued on-the-spot directions to solve them.
