LAHORE: We live in a world where food development and technological advancements continue to grow at a rapid pace owing to the needs of the population. Hence, the development of food products has made its own major space in the global market.
Kinnaird College helps its students of Food Science and Human Nutrition Department to take their initial steps into the massive ever-growing market through its Annual Product Launch.
In this connection, an inaugural ceremony was held Thursday, which was attended by Kinnaird College Board of Governors Chairman Reverend Alexander John Malik, Vice Chairman Eric Maseey, Principal Dr Rukhsana David and others.
The product launch is carried out by the students of the third semester, which serves as a platform for them to prepare innovative food products and gives them a chance to start their own business.
Every group of students comes up with its unique idea and builds it into a creative product under the guidance of Head of Department Dr Mahnaz Nasir Khan and the very supportive teachers; Dr Rabia Naz, Dr Nadia Akram, Memoona Khalid and Nasreen Kausar.
