–Chinese citizens start collecting donations for martyrs’ families
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water Resources Muhammad Faisal Vawda on Sunday said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would not abandon families of those martyred during the attack on Chinese Consulate in Karachi.
The minister announced jobs for the family members of those security personnel who valiantly embraced martyrdom during the attack on Chinese Consulate and injured security personnel.
Talking to a private news channel, the minister said that jobs would be given to the family members within 15 to 25 days.
He said, “We all must unite in anti-terror campaign.”
ZAIDI ANNOUNCES COMPENSATION FOR HEIRS OF MARTYRED COPS:
Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi announced compensation for heirs of two policemen who embraced martyrdom in the attack on the Chinese consulate.
Zaidi said that he would give Rs500,000 to heirs of each martyred policemen. He also announced to bear the educational expenses of children of the deceased cops.
Zaidi also announced Rs300,000 for the security guard Jumman Shah who fought the attackers and sustained injuries. He appreciated the security guard and said that people like Jumman are the real heroes of the nation.
A day before, Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister on Information Murtaza Wahab announced Rs12.5 million compensation for the families of each cop and Rs1 million for the injured private security guard. He also announced that the Sindh government will bear all the medical expenses of the guard.

Chinese Deputy Chief Mission Lechon Yahoo twitted that Sino-Pak friendship has turned into a relationship of iron brothers. The police personnel who were martyred while thwarting the attack on Chinese consulate in Karachi proved to be heroes for us, he said, adding that the people of the two countries are extremely grieved over their martyrdom.
He said that Chinese citizens while paying tribute to them, have started collecting donations for their families.
