IIUI becomes first Pakistani university to launch online job portal

ISLAMABAD: The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has launched an online job portal for providing the purposes of employment and maintenance of its employees’ record, becoming the country’s first university to implement such an initiative.

IUII Rector Professor Masoom Yaseenzai and IUII President Professor Ahmed Yousaf Ahmed Al Darwaish inaugurated the portal on Sunday.

Professor Masoom appreciated the human resource department head and his team’s efforts for developing the portal and said that the online web portal would bring transparency in the accessibility of jobs and securing all sorts of records and aid in carrying out all concerned tasks swiftly.

He said that the transfer of the varsity’s data into an online platform would help increase the performance and status of the university.

Darwaish said that the online portal is a historic step taken in the history of the university and that all researches and contributions would also be made available online.

IIUI Human Resource (HR) Director Mohammad Adnan Khan said that the department has built an online job portal through its own resources and workforce which saved a heavy amount of the university’s revenue.

He said that his department has also planned to make all the university staff’s data online which would make all issues of the employees transparent and also resolve other technical issues.
