KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh and the police rounded up at least 36 suspects during joint search operations conducted in the wee hours of Monday in different areas of Karachi.
As per details, the two law enforcement agencies conducted raids in areas of Quaidabad and Shah Latif Town, in which 11 suspects were taken into custody.
The operation was initiated on an intelligence tip about the presence of the outlaws in the area.
Talking to media persons SSP Korangi Ali Raza said that the police in collaboration with the Rangers conducted a search operation in Sahibdad Goth in the jurisdiction of the Saudabad police station.
The law enforcement agencies arrested 25 suspects including three drug peddlers in the operation in the areas, SSP Ali Raza said.
The law enforcement personnel also captured drugs from the accused, the police officer added.
