Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra landed in Jodhpur on Saturday to check on the wedding preparations for her daughter, who is set to marry American singer beau Nick Jonas.
Speaking to the media, Chopra said, “This is one of my favourite cities. We have chosen this city over the whole world.”
When asked about the wedding preparations, she said, “See the wedding. What do I say about it already? We will talk about it when it happens.”
Priyanka and Nick are reportedly all set to tie the knot at the grand Umaid Bhawan Palace. The wedding details have been closely guarded, but according to sources, it will be a close-knit family affair while a separate celebration for her film fraternity friends will take place later. Other reports had suggested that the couple is expected to tie the knot on December 2 at Rajasthan’s Mehrangarh Fort in an extravaganza that may stretch over days.
The actress came to India to resume shooting for Shonali Bhose’s The Sky Is Pink along with Farhan Akhtar, after enjoying a bridal shower in New York and then a bachelorette party in Amsterdam. Nick was also spotted celebrating his bachelor party.
The two got engaged in a traditional ‘roka’ ceremony in August at the actress’ Mumbai residence.
