ISLAMABAD: Two day International Seerat-un-Nabi (SAWW) Conference will be held in Islamabad on 20th and 21st of this month on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW).
Earlier on November 16, addressing a news conference in Islamabad Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, Dr Noorul Haq Qadri has said that opening session of the conference will be chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan whereas President Dr Arif Alvi will preside the closing session on the second day of the event.
The minister for religious affairs said that a committee will determine the winners in different Islamic writings and research work and President Dr Arif Alvi will distribute prizes among the winners. He said prominent Ulema and Mushaikh from across the world, political leaders, faculty members of different universities, scholars and members of the parliament will participate in the conference.
Noorul Haq Qadri said an international Qirat competition will also be organized on 17th of this month in Karachi while a function about “Sufiana Kalam” will be arranged at Governor House Lahore on 18th of this month in connection with the Eid Milad-un- Nabi (SAWW) celebrations. The Minster said Radio Pakistan and PTV have already started to air Qirat, Naat Khawani and other relevant programmes in connection with Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW) to highlight the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (SAWW).
