Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistanis are not ready to eat a humble pie because of foreign aid and make any compromise at the cost of its sovereignty and territorial integrity. He was talking to the media after a meeting with British Secretary of State Mrs Theresa May in London on Friday.
The chief minister said that the world community should support Pakistan in its efforts to safeguard its sovereignty and Britain and other European countries can play an important role in bringing an end to drone attacks or at least limiting them to terrorists only.
He said that more than 90 per cent problems being faced by Pakistan today were Musharraf era’s legacy. The chief minister said that despite being on official visit, the members of his delegation, including ministers and assembly members had paid for their expenses.
