PM Imran to visit Malaysia on Nov 20

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Malaysia for two days on the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Bin Mohamad.

The premier is expected to leave for the South East Asian country on Nov 20.

Furthermore, Finance Minister Asad Umar, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi are expected to accompany him.

According to reports, the premier will hold meetings with his Malaysian counterpart and other senior officials of the Malaysian government.

Meanwhile, PM Imran met a delegation of parliamentarians from Karachi to discuss the situation of the city and assured them that the people will see a visible change within few months in all sectors.

Talking to a delegation led by Sindh Governor Imran Ismail in Islamabad, PM Khan said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) took reins of the country at a difficult juncture, however, the government will take all measures to resolve people’ s problems.

The PM urged the parliamentarians to have close cooperation with people to resolve their issues.

Ismail briefed the meeting about the progress on Karachi Package announced by the premier.

Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi briefed the meeting on the steps being taken to address water and transport issues and job creation for the people of Karachi.
