YAOUNDE: As many as 80 people, mostly school children, were kidnapped in the city of Bamenda in northwest Cameroon early on Monday, a foreign media outlet reported.
It was not clear who was responsible for the kidnapping, which occurred in the English-speaking region of Cameroon where separatists are fighting to form a breakaway state.
