CJP Nisar undergoes angioplasty at Rawalpindi hospital

RAWALPINDI: Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar had an angioplasty procedure done at a local hospital on Sunday, according to reports.

The top judge was admitted to the Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology after he complained of chest pain, where he underwent angioplasty during which two stents were fitted in his heart.

The chief justice was said to be out of danger and recovering from the minimally invasive surgical procedure.
