Three women were injured in a clash over a land dispute in Chawinda, a local media outlet reported on Saturday.
Armed men damaged the standing crops on land owned by Khamis Javed but his family members challenged the men.
The armed men then beat up Javed’s family members with sticks and bricks, injuring three women.
Local police later registered a case against three people over the incident.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and Inspector General of Police Amjad Saleemi took notice of the incident.
