Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday approved reshuffling of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) office holders in an attempt to restructure the party.
PTI Secretary General Arshad Daad said that after PM’s approval, senior party leader Ejaz Chaudhry has been made the central additional secretary general. Muhammad Ghulam Sarwar has been appointed the west Punjab president, whereas Umar Dar has been handed the reins in central Punjab.
The west and central regions were previously led by Chaudhry Mohammad Ashfaq and incumbent Punjab Local Government Minister Abdul Aleem Khan.
Moreover, Attaullah Khan Shadi Khel has been made the north Punjab president replacing Amir Kiyani.
Daad further said that the restructuring drive will continue in the party till the lowest tiers.
