An off-screen footage of senior journalist and columnist Hassan Nisar’s talk show has gone viral on social media wherein he can be seen hurling abuses at a female colleague.
In the viral clip, Nisar can be seen using abusive language and making derogatory remarks against the female journalist who had apparently caused a delay in the recording of his show for a private news channel.
“I have told that **** a thousand times… it’s 5:30 and that **** does not care,” he can be heard as saying. Nisar then asks a member of the production crew to contact the woman.
It merits a mention here that the video comes days after an audio clip of journalist Haroonur Rasheed broke the internet, in which he could be heard abusing and threatening a police officer.
In the clip, Rasheed could be heard arguing with a police officer, namely Rehan, asking about an individual, Nadeem Zafar, in the custody.
“Our sources have said that the accused is innocent and is beaten in jail,” Rasheed was heard saying to the police officer.
Upon saying that he was acting under the law, Rasheed replied to the police officer that “… your IG will see you”.
The veteran journalist went on to call the police officer “son of a donkey” (gadhay ka bacha).
