ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will hold meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang during his visit to China from November 2-5 at the invitation of the Chinese leadership.
During the visit, the PM will discuss a whole range of bilateral issues besides inking a number of agreements, the Foreign Office (FO) announced.
This will be the first official visit of the prime minister to China since assuming office in August 2018.
After his visit to Beijing, the premier will visit Shanghai to participate in the First China International Import Expo in Shanghai, where he will be a keynote speaker.
PM Imran will hold meetings with other world leaders on the sidelines of Shanghai Forum as well as meetings with leaders of the Chinese financial and corporate sector.
He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.
