Burnt bodies of three Maripur Oil and Gas Company employees and one Frontier Corps (FC) official were recovered from a torched vehicle in Spin Wam tehsil of North Waziristan on Tuesday.
An FC official told a local news outlet that the oil company’s employees – a foreman, a driver and labourer – and the FC official were missing since Monday and their burnt bodies were found after a day-long search operation.
The official further said that this was second such incident in a span of two weeks. Earlier, two employees of the same company had gone missing and only one them was recovered through a local jirga’s efforts.
