NHA auctions 15 vehicles in line with govt’s austerity drive

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) National Highway Authority (NHA) on Wednesday auctioned 15 vehicles, including 13 cars and two motorbikes for over Rs20 million, in line with the austerity policy of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The auction took place at NHA Headquarters at Chamkani area on GT Road under the supervision of KP NHA DG Ghulam Mujtaba Mehmon.

Deputy Director Audit Zafar Ali Ranja, Deputy Director Transport Tanveer Raza, KP Deputy Director Accounts Farooq Afridi and Peshawar Assistant Director Admin Raiz Hussain Kazmi were also present on the occasion.

Among 15 vehicles, seven are luxury, including Toyota Tiger, Toyota Prado, Toyota Leam Four, Toyota JA 4 Tiger and a Potohar Jeep.
