National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) on Wednesday evening issued the registration form for ‘Naya Pakistan Housing Programme’ launched by Prime Minister Imran Khan earlier in the day.
In the first phase of the project Sukkur, Quetta, Gilgit, Muzaffarabad, Swat, Islamabad and Faisalabad districts will be facilitated.
The forms can be submitted from October 22 to December 21 along with Rs250 registration fee at the selected district offices.
Earlier, PM Khan launched ‘Naya Pakistan Housing Programme’ at a special ceremony in Islamabad.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that the target of the government is to ensure the provision of five million affordable houses for underprivileged classes during the next five years.
The PM expressed the confidence that the programme would not only help realise the dream of a shelter for the poor but also create employment opportunities.
It will also attract local and foreign investment and stimulate about 40 related industries.
