Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Tuesday met United States (US) Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at the US State Department in Washington.
During the meeting, Qureshi discussed matters pertaining to bilateral relations and regional situation with his US counterpart.
Earlier, the FM also held a meeting with US National Security Advisor John Bolton at the White House.
“FM Qureshi and US National Security Adviser discussed Pakistan-US relations and the situation in South Asia,” tweeted the Pakistan Embassy in Washington.
Separately, Qureshi held a meeting with Senator Lindsey Graham.
The senator, during the meeting, said he had personally seen the progress Pakistan had made in the erstwhile tribal areas during his last visit to the region and looked forward to leading a delegation to Islamabad soon.
The two also discussed matters pertaining to the restoration of peace in Afghanistan.
