PM assures protection of rights of Sindh, immediate medical relief for Thar locals

KARACHI: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan on Tuesday said his government would safeguard the rights of Sindh and residents of the province.

The prime minister in a meeting with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sindh chapter President Ameer Bhutto and Secretary General Haleem Adil Sheikh here at the Parliament House chamber said that PTI Sindh’s workers were an asset for the party.

The prime minister asked the PTI’s provincial president and general secretary to strengthen the party at union council level and gear up for the next local government election. He also asked them to ensure the continuity of party policies and manifesto in the province.

The prime minister also expressed concern over the situation in Thar and directed the Federal Minister for National Health Services and Regulations (NHSR) to visit the area at his earliest and provide relief to the locals suffering from various diseases.
