Indian dams on Chenab

India is reported to have completed three dams on Chenab River in occupied Kashmir generating over 2100 MW of electricity ie, the double of Mangla dam. This shows the break neck speed of India building dams while Pakistan is moving at snails speed to build its mega dam of Bhasha and other dams to the exclusion of Kalabagh dam, which is like a shadow under the lamp.

We are disregarding the grave shortage in water and power in the country while India is capitalising on our western rivers, thus steadily diverting water from our rivers by impounding it in hydroelectric dams. Our politician, especially of Sindh and KP, are behaving like ostriches burying their heads in sand upon seeing danger. People are sick of criminal neglect of our politicians who cannot see the writing on the wall about impending poverty and famine in the wake of dwindling water and power resources.
