ISLAMABAD: Pakistani ace cueist Babar Masih, who grabbed medals in the ACBS Asian Snooker Championship returned home on Sunday here at New Islamabad International Airport from Qatar.
Babar had won a bronze medal in Asian 6Red Snooker Championship. He also won the Asian Team Championship with former IBSF World Champion Muhammad Asif. Pakistan’s Muhammad Bilal and Babar also bagged silver and bronze medals respectively in the Asian 6-Red Snooker Championship.
He was given a warm welcome by snooker fans, friends and officials of Islamabad and Rawalpindi Billiards and Snooker Associations.
“We worked very hard and went fully prepared for the championship and by the grace of God we won,” he said while talking to media at the airport.
Speaking about his participation in Snooker Championship at Myanmar next month, he said we will try our level best and will practice well in the training camp.
