Honour, security of the country comes first, COAS tells PMA cadets

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Monday visited Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement.

Addressing the faculty and cadets, the COAS emphasised on striving for professional competence, leading the men from the front and upholding the virtues of honour, integrity, selfless devotion and rich traditions of Pakistan Army.

“The honour and security of the country always come first, the honour, safety and welfare of the soldiers come next and the comfort of officers always comes last,” he said.

PMA Commandant Maj Gen Akhtar Nawaz Satti, at the occasion, briefed the COAS on various functional aspects of the academy for professional grooming of the cadets.
