ANP leaders Afrasyab and Zahid Khan barred from condoling with Nawaz

LAHORE: Awami National Party (ANP) leaders Afrasyab Khattak and Zahid Khan were barred by the administration to offer condolences to former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on his spouse’s death on Thursday.

Both leaders strongly protested against the misbehaviour of the administration.

“ANP leaders Afrasyab Khattak and Zahid Khan arrived at Jati Umra, Lahore from Peshawar on Thursday to meet former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and offer their condolences to him on his wife Kalsoom Nawaz’s death. But the administration barred them from meeting and condoling with the former premier,” sources said.

Both leaders were annoyed and strongly protested against the mistreatment and expressed disappointment over the incident, sources added.
