My aim is to improve fielding of Pakistan: Grant Bradburn

DUBAI: Newly appointed fielding coach of Pakistan cricket team Grant Bradburn said that improving the fielding of green shirts is his main objective.

Talking to media in Dubai, he said that it was a great first session with the team. “The fitness and fielding of the team are great,” he added.

Bradburn who joined the team in Dubai on Wednesday said that the players are ready to learn and are familiar with the basic techniques of fielding.”

He further said that his main objective is to improve the standards of the fielding.

Pakistan team is currently in United Arab Emirates (UAE) for the Asian Cup 2018, starting from September 15 to 28.

Pakistan will play its first match of the tournament against Hong Kong on September 16. The green shirts will clash with arch-rivals India on September 19.

This year’s tournament will feature India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Hong Kong.
