Actor Hamza Ali Abbasi on Tuesday took to Twitter to express his opinions regarding former first lady Kulsoom Nawaz’s death following a months-long battle with throat cancer.

He started by saying that people should not disrespect the deceased by saying that Sharif family members serving sentences should be released.

He said that the sympathy people had was disgusting.

He explained that he was tweeting in response to the bashing he was facing on social media.

This is not the first time Abbasi has come under the spotlight for his tweets. In April, he tweeted a rather confused and judgemental understanding of harassment.

In May, Abbasi tried to shift focus from the Manchester attacks by making suffering about the Muslim world.

This did not go down well with the public and people had openly called out his childish behaviour.

One user even foresaw how Hamza might leave a bad taste in the mouth at somebody’s funeral.
