Sindh Minister for Local Government Saeed Ghani ordered the installation of bio-metric attendance system at Karachi Development Authority (KDA) and Lyari Development Authority (LDA), a local media outlet reported on Friday.
The minister gave the orders after visiting the offices and discovering a high rate of employee absenteeism.
He also directed senior officials at the authorities to ensure the system is implemented at the earliest to track staff attendance.
