The Lahore High Court on Thursday issued notice to former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf again on a petition filed by the former president Muhammad Rafiq Tarar seeking removing all references made to Musharraf in public and official records showing him as president.
Earlier, Deputy Attorney General (DAG) Zia Al-Qamar appeared before the court and informed that the report and comments had been received from finance department in the matter and the same would be submitted soon. The court was also told that the accountant general of Pakistan and Musharraf had yet to file their comments yet. Justice Sh Azmat Saeed issued notice to former president Musharaf and directed the DAG to file comments on behalf of Accountant General as well. The court adjourned the hearing till first week of October.
