Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ahmad Raza Tahir has directed Lahore police to ensure strategy to maintain security for Juma (Friday) congregations through snap checking. CCPO also ordered setting up of walkthrough gates and asked divisional SPs to personally review the police duty at mosques, shrines and Imam Bargahs. He direct policemen to carry out special surveillance of all inns, hotels, bus stands and wagon stands in city to avert any anti-state activity. CCPO further directed that parking lots at important buildings, mosques and Imam Barghas must also be checked thoroughly. Tahir also made an appeal to citizens that they should report any suspicious activity on police emergency number 15.
