Saturday is going to be declared as a sports day in the primary and middle schools of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Chief secretary office Performance, Management and Reforms Unit Chairman Adil Saeed Safi said, “A notification in this regard will be issued soon by the relevant departments.”
Safi also said that children would be expected to come to school on Saturdays but without books and only to take part in sports of their choosing.
Moreover, two classes pertaining to sports activities are also to be specified at the high and higher secondary levels.
